Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls:
What the Scrolls Can Tell Us about the Man from Nazareth
A two-hour Saturday afternoon seminar to coincide with the exhibition "Cradle of
Christianity" at the Carlos Museum at Emory University. We will explore the relevance
of the Dead Sea Scrolls for our understanding of first-century Judaism and,
significantly, of the historical Jesus of Nazareth.
- Saturday, September 8, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, with optional trip to the Carlos
Museum afterwards
